Pricing is PER SKEIN. Multiple skeins are pictured to show nuances from skein to skein in hand-dyed yarn.

Artisan Sock base: This superwash fingering weight merino wool,
custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist giving you beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength
making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters and mittens as well.

  • 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon
  • 400 yards, 120 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
  • 8 stitches per inch
  • US size 1-2 needle

Listed gauge is for sock knitting. May be worked up a looser gauge for other accessories and garments.

Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.

While we recommend hand washing to preserved the color and life of your knitted or crocheted item, Artisan Sock may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.

Blueprint: This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, is a lighter weight version of our Artisan Sock. This yarn is perfect for socks and the 20% nylon provides added strength. Blueprint is soft, yet crisp, and with the higher put-up, it is perfect for shawls and other garments / accessories.

  • 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon
  • 440 yards, 100 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
  • 8 - 9 stitches per inch
  • US size 1-2 needle

Entice is a luxurious blend of 70% merino, 20% cashmere and 10% nylon with Hazel Knits signature tight twist. Even softer than Artisan sock, yet has the same beautiful stitch definition an durability, Entice is perfect for next-to-the-face knits or those extra special socks.

  • 70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon
  • 400 yards, 113 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
  • 7-9 stitches per inch
  • US size 1-3 needle

 Recommended care:

Hand launder in tepid water with a wool friendly soap. Lay flat to dry. Although this yarn has a high superwash merino content, we do not recommend machine washing or drying.

Lyric is a heavy, 100% merino lace with a 6-ply construction. Just the right in-between yarn for featherweight cardigans or patterns calling for an ultra-light fingering weight yarn. Lyric will prove a versatile yarn for lace knitters.
