- US 2 / 2.75mm double point needles (or circular appropriate for magic loop)

Specs for regular skeins of Artisan Sock:
Artisan Sock base: This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist giving you beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters and mittens as well.
- 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon
- 400 yards, 120 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
Gauge:
- socks - 8 stitches per inch
- garments and accessories: up to 6 stitches per inch, using appropriate needle / hook for gauge.
Recommended care:
Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.
While we recommend hand washing to preserve the color and life of your handmade item, Artisan Sock may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.
