This set includes:
- 1 - 200 yard skein Lively DK, color: Signature Black (MC)
- 1 - 137 yard skein Lively DK, color: Lava (CC)
Finished Measurements:
18″ / 46cm circumference. Hat shown on a 22.5″ / 57cm head. The hat stretches to comfortably fit up to a 23″ / 58cm. Go up one needle size for a larger hat. Measurements taken after blocking.
Recommended needle size:
US 5 (3.75mm)
US 6 (4.0mm)
Either 16" circular with accompanying double points OR 40" circular for Magic Loop.
Lively DK specifications (for regular size skeins)
With the same tight twist our Artisan Sock yarn is known for, Lively DK is a heavier weight with a noticeable sproingyness. This yarn can be used for any project calling for a heavy DK or light worsted weight yarn. And since it is superwash, it's perfect for quick baby knits!
- 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon
- 275 yards, 125 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
Gauge:
- socks - 6.5 stitches per inch - US 3-4 / 3.25mm - 3.5mm needle
- garments and accessories: 5.5 stitches per inch - US 6 / 4mm needle, 4 - 4.5mm crochet hook
Recommended care:
Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.
While we recommend hand washing to preserve the color and life of your handmade item, Lively DK may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.
