Product Description
Carkeek Park, located in Seattle, WA is a prime spot to experience a slice of nature in an urban setting. With over 200 acres of lush forest, wetlands, creeks, hiking trails, and beach-side access to the Puget Sound, this park is a favorite with both locals and tourists alike. Our interpretation, translated to yarn, is a combination of watery green-blue with blips of tree bark and a layer of olive-forest green. Quintessential PNW!
Pricing is PER SKEIN. Multiple skeins are pictured to show nuances from skein to skein in hand-dyed yarn.
Blueprint: This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, is a lighter weight version of our Artisan Sock. This yarn is perfect for socks and the 20% nylon provides added strength. Blueprint is soft, yet crisp, and with the higher put-up, it is perfect for shawls and other garments / accessories.
- 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon
- 440 yards, 100 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
Gauge:
Socks: 9 stitches per inch
Accessories and garments: up to 6 stitches per inch. Use appropriate needle size to achieve the gauge and fabric texture needed for your project.
Recommended care:
Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.
While we recommend hand washing to preserved the color and life of your handmade item, Blueprint may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.
