It grows on the basalt rocks that are prevalent leftovers from ancient volcanic activity. This colorway is reminiscent of mother nature's splash of color that brightens up the reddish brown rocks and the dry, blowing grasses in this beautiful (and sometimes under-appreciated) climate.
Artisan Sock base: This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist giving you beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters and mittens as well.

Laundering Instructions:
Handwash or machine wash gentle cycle, separately, with mild detergent in cool water. Lay flat to dry or machine dry on low temperatures. For best results, turn garment inside out before laundering.
