			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hazel Knit's ethos is to always be allies to BIPOC and LGBTQ communities - in our craft and in our community. We tend to use our voice more internally - in our day-to-day interactions, with acts of service, kindness, and generosity. Yet, there are times when it is imperative to use our voice outward. We stand in solidarity with the Black community. I've been listening to audiobooks, podcasts, and reading news and essays about how we got here. Every day I learn a new bit of history or viewpoint, often painful that I didn't learn in primary or secondary education. There's never been a more pivotal time seek change and take steps towards equality and justice. We support protesters who are using their voices to demand 
justice and change. </p><p>Donate. Listen. March. Support Black-owned businesses.</p><p>Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects - Dalai Lama</p><p>Black lives matter.</p><h2>_________________________________________________________________________________</h2><p>Ways to support black fiber artists, organizations, and personal education/growth. <p>We are located directly across the street from Honda / Toyota of Seattle. Our building is black with white trim and has large front windows - we are the front door.</p>

<p>We have a small parking lot on the side of our building (Plum Street). There is perpendicular parking against our building (black building) and along the dead end. It is OK to park in front of the garage door towards the back of OUR building (near our mailboxes). Please do not block the alley.</p>
<p>If our lot is full, there is street parking one block south on HILL, WALKER, and S. COLLEGE streets.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you cannot find parking, give us a call, 206-250-1312 and we can direct you to some spaces that</p>
<p>Please place any valuables or bags (even knitting!) or anything else that might look appealing in your trunk, BEFORE you arrive.</p>
