We all scream for ice cream!! I took the colors and shapes of one of my favorite ice cream flavors (Ben & Jerry's Phish Food) and translated them into a wearable design. These mitten(en)s are packed with gooey marshmallows, laced with caramel clusters on a chocolate sea and... do I spy an occasional little phish? Yep, that's in there too! And since they're designed with the option to be fingerless or full mittens, you can follow your heart (and your climate) and knit whichever option works best for you.
- Brown Mitts (both sizes) and Brown Mittens (S/M) kit includes: 1- 140 yard skein Lively DK in color FUDGE, 3 - 35 yard mini skeins, one of each contrasting colors, DULCE DE LECHE, CASTLE, AND NEKKID
- Sangiovese Mitts (both sizes) and Sangiovese Mittens (S/M) kit includes: 1- 140 yard skein Lively DK in color SANGIOVESE, 3 - 35 yard mini skeins, one of each contrasting colors, ESTELLE, CASTLE, AND NEKKID
- Brown Mittens (L) kit includes: 1- 275 yard skein Lively DK in color FUDGE, 3 - 35 yard mini skeins, one of each contrasting colors, DULCE DE LECHE, CASTLE, AND NEKKID
- Sangiovese Mittens (L) kit includes: 1- 275 yard skein Lively DK in color SANGIOVESE, 3 - 35 yard mini skeins, one of each contrasting colors, ESTELLE, CASTLE, AND NEKKID
You'll need needles to make a 27 stitch = 4" gauge (size 1-3, depending on how tightly/loosely you knit). Also, stitch markers and a tapestry needle.
Lively DK is machine washable, though handwashing will preserve the life of your project.
