Carnelian is a clear, bright orange with layers of warm yellows, deeper oranges and reds reminiscent of the stone it is named for. A warm and energizing color.

Hazel Knits "layered solids" are shaded from lighter to darker with multiple colors to give your lacy or patterned knitting depth and interest while still highlighting the stitch definition.

 With nine tightly twisted plies, Piquant has incredible stitch definition and durability. The 10% added nylon makes this an excellent choice for socks. A bit thinner than the Artisan Sock yarn will broaden the appeal of this yarn for many.
