Hazel Knits uses USPS "real time" shipping quotes for both US and International packages.

You will be given options for shipping at check out - First Class shipping (for packages 13 oz and fewer AND for International packages) and Priority shipping (for all packages heavier than 13 oz.) The Priority shipping option provides delivery confirmation, free of charge.

There is also an option for Fed Ex Ground Delivery. This should only be selected for heavy items such as yarn bowls, mugs or very large orders. Otherwise, it is a bit more expensive for orders of 10 skeins or less and it takes a little longer than USPS Priority mail. For most yarn orders, USPS is the best option for shipping.

PLEASE NOTE: (And this is very important...) If you choose First Class shipping, your package will cost less, however it will NOT have delivery confirmation. Hazel Knits will not be able to track packages or replace items sent with First Class shipping.

If you've made an order and then decided to add on to it, just convo me and I'll adjust your shipping fees so you aren't charged twice. If you made multiple orders and chose the first class shipping option, the packages combined may exceed the weight requirements for first class, so it will automatically bump to Priority. In this case, it will most likely work out the same cost-wise.

It is very important for me that you are delighted with your purchase from Hazel Knits. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact me right away as I'll do everything I can to ensure your satisfaction.

Returns will be handled on a case by case basis. Returns will only be accepted on yarn that has it's original label and is still in skein form. Also, returns to Hazel Knits are only valid if the yarn was purchased from the website. If you have purchased Hazel Knits yarn from a different online yarn store or an LYS, please contact that store for assistance. The customer will be responsible for shipping fees AND Paypal fees on returned items.

There is no restocking fee for items that are in stock on the website all of the time (Artisan Sock, for example.) However, if you order a yarn base that is custom dyed to order (DK Lively, for example) there will be a 15% restocking fee if you change your mind.
